چکیده
Mental workload is considered to be strongly linked human performance, and the ability measure it accurately key for balancing health work. In this study, brain signals were elicited by mental arithmetic tasks of varying difficulty stimulate different levels workload. addition, a finite impulse response (FIR) filter, independent component analysis (ICA), multiple artifact rejection algorithms (MARAs) used filter event-related potentials (ERPs). Then, data consisting ERPs, subjective ratings workload, task analyzed through use variance Spearman’s correlation during simulated computer task. We found that participants responded faster performed better in easy condition, followed medium high-difficulty conditions, which verifies validity ERP filtering. Moreover, larger P2 P3 waveforms evoked as increased, higher more enhanced N300. Correlation revealed negative relationship between amplitude ratings, positive accuracy. The results presented paper demonstrate combination FIR, ICA, MARA methods can ERPs non-invasive real-time measurement Additionally, frontocentral P2, N3, parietal components showed differences genders. proposed useful identification states applied human–computer interaction future.

Measuring Mental Workload with EEG+fNIRS
We studied the capability of a Hybrid functional neuroimaging technique to quantify human mental workload (MWL). We have used electroencephalography (EEG) and functional near-infrared spectroscopy (fNIRS) as imaging modalities with 17 healthy subjects performing the letter n-back task, a standard experimental paradigm related to working memory (WM). The level of MWL was parametrically changed b...

The aim of this review is to identify the most representative measures of subjective and objective mental workload in driving, and to understand how the subjective and objective levels of mental workload influence the performance as a function of situation complexity and driving experience, i.e., to verify whether the increase of situation complexity and the lack of experience increase the subj...

متن کاملModels of Mental Workload 3 Subjective Measures of Mental Workload
The primary objective of this research project was to investigate models for monitoring and predicting subjective workload in the control of complex systems. Such models would enable systems to use workload levels to distribute tasks optimally in addition to identifying levels of workload which could lead to a serious breakdown in performance. In the aircraft-pilot system, for example, such cap...
